Swtor launcher don't log in

About 3 days I'm having this issue already, everytime I try to log in swtor launcher it keeps loading forever or just give me some network errors such as 208, 310 or 311, I tried to unistall and inst...

    Same with avast disabled ?

    The host file may be worthwhile checking will grab details how to do that

    Edit - open the host file and ensure there is no entry for cdn-patch.swtor.com 127.0.0.1 if there is delete that line and save the file

    1. Press the Windows key.
    2. Type Notepad in the search field.
    3. In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
    4. From Notepad, open the following file: c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
    5. Make the necessary changes to the file.
    6. Click File > Save to save your changes.

    Edit - You will to change the file type in notepad to show all files not just .txt

    worked, thanks, without you I would be unistalling and installing the game over again like a crazy!

    Glad to hear we found the cause

    I am unsure what would of added that url to the host file to start with (avast ?), something to keep an eye on for now.
