Suffering it extremely unstable, speed dropping to near zero all the time, so over an hour in, less than 10% done.
No streaming client, so can't even try that solution. Was thinking it was because so many would be downloading it, till I heard a friend got well over half done in the same time.
Internet speed in yoiur area may depend on many factors traffic on your ISP over your friend that uses a different ISP. It sucks the hole swtor Pop is trying to download a 8.5 gig patch just be hang in there.

Didn't think that was it, ISP didn't explain it at least not locally. But I went to look into things and decided to try something.
Turning off Public Test Server access boosted DL speed considerably mostly around 300KB/s now, occasionally dropping to 100-ish sometimes jumping to 500KB/s
