I'm trying to subscribe right now but I'm getting the maintenance issue. I've reset my EA and SWTOR passwords, but I'm still running into roadblocks... any ideas?

The linked EA account likely needs a password reset , if you have never changed the email on the swtor account since making the account then that is the email to use to reset the password.
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

- @proxos666 So I just reset my EA password using the link you sent; then tried logging in on SWTOR.com via Incognito mode. Still the same issue. I'm just gonna recap what I've tried:
- Reset my SWTOR.com account password
- Set up my VISA card on my EA account
- Reset my EA account password
- Logged into SWTOR.com via Incognito mode.
Any other ideas?- @proxos666 OK, thanks. Any point in downloading the game via Steam and trying to purchase a sub there?
