SWTOR Standart edition

Hi!)

There was such a question. I have been playing SWTOR for a long time and paid for a subscription more than once, but only on the site. Now I want to buy a standard edition in Origin. It says that it is activated only on new accounts. Question - if I have already paid for a separate subscription, will the standard edition be activated?

    The 30 day code is a once only per account as it says and is i believe the retail code like seen in physical boxes

    I guess if you havent applied a code from a physical box then in theory it should work once , there is also a 60 day purchase on origin that can be bought more then once ( every 6 months i believe )

    Why dont you just buy the 30 days on swtor.com ? if there is a popup saying issue , then gametime wont add from any source.

  • I can't pay for a subscription because I live in Ukraine, and the prices are in rub. In connection with the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, banks closed any transactions with rubles. So I decided to buy the standard edition, but you can pay in origin with my currency.

    @Vivavaaay

    what is the swtor username ?

    i can flag to check with swtor support ,  they are under the impression purchasing for swtor from ukraine was sorted , if you can purchase on origin then you should be able to purchase on swtor  as purchasing is tied to the linked EA/Origin account

    Will be about 11hrs before i get an initial response from them ( is when they are online for the day )

    Origin has the ability to pay with Paypal and hryvnia, so now this is the only way I can somehow play with the subscription

  • If I can't activate the Standard Edition, can I request a refund? If yes, what is the link to follow for this?

  • @proxos666 I think I myself know why the payment does not go through. On my site, the subscription payment is made in rubles. And funds from the card are also withdrawn in rubles, but transferred to hryvnia and the corresponding amount is withdrawn. But, I repeat, because of the war between Ukraine and Russia, it is now impossible to pay in rubles in Ukraine, all transactions with rubles have been closed. If it were possible for my account to change prices from rubles to hryvnias, then I would be able to pay for a subscription on the site :D

    @Vivavaaay

    Origin like you said has been fixed , swtor is still in the works apparently

    another from ukraine suggested setting the country to bulgaria and then add card details as a workaround , worth a try i guess
