SWTOR won't install on my computer

I had an issue with the launcher this evening trying to get it to open. After 45 to an hour and 40 minutes I decided to uninstall and reinstall however it will not install for me. I have this log and see that its aborting but idk why. I also no longer have the game on my computer anywhere that I can find.

Not sure why it is aborting, the setup isnt strictly needed to be used

If you run the repair utility (Link) in the location you want the game and then run the launcher.exe there it should still install

Take the system to a clean boot (See link) and see if it persists, steps to return to normal boot are in the link

Does the same occur in a new windows administrator user profile ? this user profile can be deleted later if no change

if the game installs in the new windows profile, if you create a game shortcut to launcher.exe maybe a workaround in the original profile

I'll try it after work tomorrow. I did however include the install log. It says it was a reinstall which I don't know how that could be as no version of starwars is on my computer and it has a custom abort and cancel in the log as well.

Your answer with a little more research worked as it was stuck at 0%. I just added

* open launcher.settings in notepad (can be found in your SWTOR root folder of choice)

* find these lines:

"bitraider_disable": false

"PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\" }"

* change them to this:

"bitraider_disable": true

"PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"

This will force a complete redownload,
