You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona ferzhust (not Aezwyn that your posting on now) that EA account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword (insert the swtor email in the link) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Hello, unfortunately, I have also been going through the same issue. However, I contacted customer support and could not resolve the situation after attempting multiple times to reset the EA password and use different browsers. Ultimately I was told a ticket would be submitted for further inquiry for this. Then the person from customer support told me to attempt to purchase the subscription through steam. Still, I have read that buying the subscription through that method was risky as it has proven unreliable in the past and is not eligible for a refund. To conclude, I just wanted to ask if anything else can be done from the swtor site itself to purchase the subscription via those means as I have done before. Thank you. My account name is VIPERAKITA.
- 4 years ago@proxos666 Im logged in using steam, the sub purchase went through but its not applying to my account, i already reset the EA password and its still the same. I still dont understand why we cant submit a private ticket, this is the only way i can find to report this issue

Hello!
I created my account linked to EA in 2013 and abandoded it for several years before yesterday. Now I wanted to buy a subscription on the website (Steam seemed oo dangerous), but I receive the "Issue with your Electronic Arts accounts" error. I figure this is due to the log inactivity time, but how can I confirm, that the account is my?
Obviously I've tried to change the EA password and browser, but it doesn't seem to help anyone on the spot.
Could you contact the team, so my account is rechecked? Display name is AydanKusland

I have just returned after a few months away and when I logon I've lost my subscriber status, even though the money was paid on july 17th.
Have also reset the EA password (using same e-mail as my swtor one).
Username : Xexeim
What can be done?

Your account has been sent to studio for fixing, they should email when it is fixed
to subscribe for now as a workaround, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

I'm also getting the message "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." when trying to view my payment history on my SWTOR account page.
My SWTOR name is Blaztgowhiz.

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona supermarket301 (not YGfingers your posting on now) that EA account uses a gmail email (email is different to swtor)
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Hi, I have the same problem:

I can not subscribe.Name: MLocust

Your swtor account has been disabled for purchasing, this is due to the linked EA account has had its data wiped due to long term inactivity
The linked EA account was created at the same time as the swtor account was created , and will likely use the email address used on account creation ( this is most likely the case unless you have changed the email on the EA account previously)
If you have access to the email address used to "create" the swtor account , then use this link ( support suggest using your gmail email used on your swtor account )to reset the password on the linked EA account and then login on that account to get it restored.
Let me know if you think you have sorted the account and i can recheck the account
if you have no clue and cant get this sorted then you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open and they can update the details on the account for you
