I don't mind Boba sticking with the tuskens, but my only gripe is I don't understand why he's with them
He was kidnapped to be a slave, he got free, and whats his motivation for staying around.
I don't really know why he's not going around trying to find his armor, or go back to bounty hunting or whatever, I really don't know what his purpose is in the flashbacks, and I wish they went more into that
Did he just quit becoming a bounty hunter because some jawas stole his armor.
Kinda weird he gave up on his life over that, what about his ship, his bank account and everything.
The flashback events are taking place after his escape from the sarlaac so its either during ROTJ or after ROTJ, so the empire may or may not be around on its last days and I'm surprised we didn't get to see that liberation.
Didn't figure Boba to be the kind person who quits everything in his life after surviving a near death experience once, given his profession and decided to live among the first group of people he finds. - templarphoenixNew Spectator
If you want to make a planet be the base of a crime network, you better have some groups of people supporting you, especially locals.
He said he prepare to rule with respect, he earned the locals'(tuskens) respect, and has a entire clan supporting him out there in the wild. "Phoenixeon;c-2326646" wrote:

Yeah, I could see this building toward a battle with the Hutts and he'll call on the Tuskens for support.- I think it could go in many ways, they need permission for killing Hutts - Kiera. BK could join Boba or Bossk could join Boba to help out. Omega is Boba’s sister and he may or may not know her.
- I'm just curious as to where they (Tuskens,Boba) keep finding wood for their fires and Gaffi clubs. I don't recall seeing any trees or shrubs on tatooine?

I actually liked the whole train flashback, it was interesting to see how they tackled the train problem, and stuff

I mean I don't mind him staying with tuskens and doing whatever but I wish I knew why
I think the reason he's staying is it's likely one of few, if any at all, exposures he's had since Jango to any true sense of family. It gets back to what Filoni has often talked about in terms of George's vision where the importance of family is very much at the heart of the SW story. The dreams are another tell here (thinking about Jango and Kamino etc).
I am in awe of what Filoni and Favreau are doing with these series. The franchise is in such great hands right now. I love the idea of exploring the grey in SW. I know, for me growing up, the OT seemed very black and white. Looking back you obviously don't see things the same way but I love how they are exploring it with these series. - HokieChuck888New Rookie

I feel a tragic set up coming for the tuskens. Bosses aren’t going to be happy about paying tribute to move the spice. Boba will need a tragic event to move him on from the tuskens and on to the next stage of the story.
I 100% agree with you. He's gone all in with the Tusken fam imo. It's going to take tragedy for him to leave them. I'm with you in that it's his tribe that gets wiped and sends him on a mission to go after the underworld elements that are at fault.... maybe leading him to take over Jabba's position. Can't wait for tonight's episode! - NotRealUltraSeasoned Newcomer

The gladiator Wookiee is actually Black Krrsantan, a Wookiee bounty hunter from comics.
