General Grevious Update PLEASE

So in the movies and cartoons General Grevious was a fast Android/Cyborg trained to fight with lightsabers by Count Dooku and mentored by both Dooku and Darth Sidious. He was dropping Jedi like a DJ drops fat beats (a good DJ anyway) with his unorthodox fighting style, speed and battle tactics.

Why doesn't he reflect any of this in this game? Can we PLEASE get him update to reflect how he was in the movies and cartoons? Here's a few suggestions for him;

Increase his speed
In the cartoons Grevious was able to run as fast, if not faster, than the Jedi he was hunting down. So his speed should be just as high as a Jedi, not slower.

Unique And Leader Abilities
The General Grevious that everyone came to love is the one of him putting fear in the heart of Jedi, or really anyone he faced. His leader skill, Daunting Presence, kind of shows this but then his unique ability, Tactical Retreat, completely contradicts it. Tactical Retreat needs to be replaced with a better unique ability. Like Fearful Counter, if a debuffed enemy attacks General Grevious, he has a 75% chance (maxed out) to counter attack and a 35% to inflict Stun. (Chance to counter is 100% and chance to inflict Stun is doubled if attacker is Jedi).

His Leader ability should be replaced with a unique ability for when Count Dooku is present. He may have been a General but the guy was constantly taking orders from Dooku. So if his leader skill was to be replaced it should be something like Trinkets of The Fallen. When General Grevious defeats a Jedi while Count Dooku is present, Count Dooku gains Offensive Up for 1 turn. If Count Dooku defeats an enemy, General Grevious gains Offensive Down for 1 turn. (This is because it appeared that Count Dooku voiced his displeasure in General Grevious keeping lightsabers of the Jedi he killed as trinkets/trophies.)

Sinister Laugh
Probably the most useless skill he's got. I'd say about 80% of the time used, it's resisted. This should be changed to something like, Unorthodox Attack. General Grevious attacks a random enemy dealing Special Damage and enemy attacked has loses 50% of their Turn Meter and has a 50% chance to apply Offensive Down or Defensive down for 1 turn.

Character Type
Honestly, General Grevious should be classified as a Sith. He was trained by Sith, absolutely hated (and I mean HAAAATED) Jedi, did the bidding of the Sith, and counseled with both Count Dooku and Darth Sidious. Why isn't he listed as a Sith character?

Before everyone tries to use his coughing as to why he's slower, he doesn't cough when he's battling. So technically when he's in a squad he's Clone Wars cartoon General Grevious. A bad MoFo who's out to wipe out the Jedi.

Thank you for reading!
  • Thank you everyone for the feedback. I'll try to remember to post stuff in the correct area moving forward.

    These are some cool ideas, but that "trinkets of the fallen" thing is cool, but really, how many Jedi squads are there in the arena these days? And getting offense up for beating a jedi really doesn't do much, much less offense down. Your other abilities are fine, but grevious, though he is cool, ain't no sith. To be a sith, you have to use the force and grevious sort of can't really use the force at all.

    I appreciate the feedback, but I'm going to challenge it about the Sith aspect of it. If you have to use the force to be considered Sith, why is the Sith Trooper considered Sith then? He has no force powers to use, but has that Sith tag.

    As for the Trinkets of The Fallen passive skill, there may not be as many full Jedi squads, but there's still a lot of Jedi in mixed squads. So it would still be effective. It's becoming clear that they're looking to do actual teams instead of single characters anymore. So it would only make sense to pair up Dooku with Grevious since it was Dooku who was training him to kill Jedi.

    In the cartoon episodes of Clone Wars (not the 3D cartoon) General Grevious was able to keep up with the Jedi that was trying to extract Senator Palpatine from the Capital. They may have not been doing the whole Force Run thing, but he was still able to keep up with them.

    I tried to not make him overpowered, but to invest SO much time into him and then to be this disappointed when you finally have him, you can't help but feel like he was just released and tossed to the side.
