Guild activities - punishment for activity?

Hey guys,

I don't know whether that's by design or some weirdo bug, but how come that if more people tie in guild activities (as it happens often for GW nodes and challenges) then the rewards are actually reduced for that position? Shouldn't people be rewarded or at least not punished for guild activity?

Basically if you have say 306 currency sitting on top position and someone then ties with you, you both go to 300.

Is it by design? If not, any chance it could get fixed now that guild shop actually makes some sense?:)
  • First prize for everyone who made the same points.. in the whole game!
  • I thought i was the only one who noticed lol

Anyway, i'd rather prefer this than the usual method of coin toss to decide positions for people. Reduced rewards for everyone sounds fairer.
  • Yes it's by design. As you increase the lvl of the activity (i.e. hitting 250 total in GW) you raise the size of the pool. The pool is then divided up amongst the members rated on their lvl of participation. If the pool is at the max and more people jump in there is less to go around.
