Firstly: I'm in South Africa
I missed the marque challenge for Sabine Wren, so i figure okay fine, I'll buy a google voucher... Displayed amount is ZAR 149.90. I purchased ZAR 150.00.
Exited I enter the code and find out its not enough. TAX!
We are used to having vat ( sales tax) included in the display price, or the price with a little note next to it saying "vat excl".
Naturally i am little disappointed at this surprising revelation and rather frustrated because all the outlets where i can purchase a top up amount are now closed for business.
I have to now resign myself to the fact that i will not be able to take part in the challenge for the ghost and all other related contests because i could not successfully purchase the data card.
All due to an undisclosed tax amount.
