Speaking specifically on this event. It's a simple event with basic requirements that almost every player meets. It gives out free credits and gear. It takes maybe two minutes to complete. If those two minutes are better spent somewhere else, that's fine. It doesn't mean that they are doing thinvs wrong. It just means you have better things to do with those two minutes, so what's it matter to you what they toss in?

No. It really doesn't. It takes 2 minutes to complete at Tier 2, but I need Mk3 Cheddaks which are Tier 3, and I can't use my own toons and the event toons fail 4-5 times for every time they win. It's frustrating. I have only one toon that needs Mk3 Cheddaks right now, but there are lots of toons to gear & I'm sure I'll need some later. Meanwhile, Tier 2 really is easy to complete and has multiple full-prototype give-aways, so I've done that one and have SecScanners and WeaponMods banked.

There's no reason to do it except for Tier3, and the devs didn't balance that tier anywhere close to what they did in Tier2. On top of that, when I do complete it, I keep getting blue gear. It's just badly designed.

Free is free. But I'd also like to think of this flash event as geared towards new players who need this stuff

I do tier two. Don't really need any of the gear, at least tier 2 has gear that I need from time to time
