Besides, I was in a guild where everyone had maxed out all of their characters. They wouldn't login for several days. Not even for the Rancor.
Also I remember when you had to be swift to get a good rank in a shard. A new shard was happening every three days. Now you have to wait about a week or two for it to start over. What does that mean? That less and less people are playing this game.
The only thing the shard point says is there are less people starting the game or making accounts. That could be a warning, but it is ignoring one important point. There is no way to avoid that in the long term, there aren't infinite people in the world and I can't imagine an especially large percentage have or want multiple accounts. Maybe it is something that needs to be addressed, but it doesn't automatically mean less people are playing.
