If fives was present he prevents revives

Event characters are unique instances and are nearly always tuned and updated. Sometimes with changes to skills. You should always check their kits. For example, see Mace's kit for TB.

who were you up against? you cant revive if an elite 5's was present and someone was killed by a clone

Geonosis TB Fives is not player Fives. NPCs do not work the same, are under no commitment to do so, and have never been under any commitment to do so. Sometimes this makes things easier. Sometimes it makes things harder.

For example, Geonosis TB Fives does not send other 501st allies super saiyan. Which given the incredible stats of Geonosis TB units would be terrifying.

All Geonosis TB unit kits are plainly posted in the event description.
