Option to unequip gear

The gear grind is driving many away from this game. In other games I have played there was a option to unequip gear for a cost of crystals . We need this here . Why should you do this? Keeps players from quitting that are frustrated from the never ending gear grind. More players stay equals better chance at more revenue. Also when meta changes makes all of us either farm the gear for new meta or most likely with this added all would simply unequip gear from toons that are not optimal anymore causing a rise in crystal purchases to pay for that option . I would ask keep that cost around 100 crystals per piece of gear because I for one would treat this option like mods . Optimize toons for raiding different phases this way. The never ending gear grind makes us all hate game we love to play if not this please try to help in some other way.
