SLKR Missed Opportunity

Anyone think CG missed a great opportunity to introduce The Knights of Ren faction in the Galactic Legends event? The Knights could’ve been introduced in the event as NPCs and the added as playable characters later.

I guess for that matter Snoke could’ve been introduced as well. Disappointing all of this was missed in the event.

What’re your thoughts?
  • Thanks for the comments. My only point was they could’ve made the event a little more memorable with The Knights of Ren rather than rando snow troopers and some Captain I’ve never heard of. They had Zorii Bliss. They also could’ve had a cool scene killing Snoke and his Red Guards, where you play as Rey and Kylo. But alas it is what is.

@SemiGod like Boba Fett? What's his total screen time in the movies?

Screentime doesn't matter, character growth and significance does.

Oh wait then why are Kylo and Rey now the most op in the game? OH thats right, because only money matters now in star wars...

They have been the protagonist and antagonist in the last 3 movies, of course they are top right now in the game.

Thats my point. Although achievements and power should be what decides which characters are strong in this game, they don't. All that matters apparently is where the money is at.

Tbh I am kinda surprised that EA hasn't made Baby Yoda a GL by now given what they have been doing with Rey and Kylo...

Character growth and significance for Boba Fett then? Escorted a frozen Han Solo to his ship. Flew him to Jabba then went down like a sissy at the Sarlaac pit. Kinda like the Knights of Ren. Stood around on screen while other characters did everything, then showed up and were promptly killed by the main characters.

Exactly. He shouldn't be op either (although he isn't op in late-game)...

Yet, his unique look made him easy for Disney to market as toys, which is why EA made him good in this game.

So who should be the most powerful in the game?

    And then what?

I bet you that the current generation of kids (who the toys are made for) dont't have the faintest clue who Boba Fett is.

Agreed, but much of the adult market is for the vintage toys from the original releases.

Maybe, but I sure see a whole lot of new, not vintage, toy purchases on discord channels ?
