Who is Kalani?

Kalani was a super tactical droid seen in a few episodes of the clone wars, and was in an episode of rebels. He disobeyed the deactivation order for the droids and is officially the last separatist holdout that we’ve seen in the Disney canon.

Thanks. I've seen all of those episodes. Just didnt know his name. Doesnt sound very droid-ish. Going to read his wiki now to brush up.

I actually love that episode in Rebels.

Ive got this crazy hope/theory that the "Allies from the outer rim" that they are calling for in The Last Jedi to come save the Resistance are a fleet of old Droids and Jedi from the Clone Wars and Ezra and Thrawn.

Rex saved Ahsoka and made allies with the droids in that Rebels episode and the other Clone survivor were Gregor and Wulff. Not sure who Gregor's Jedi general was, but Wullf's was Plo Koon - and hes the only Jedi that we didnt see actually die at the end of Revenge of the Sith. Sure he was shot down, but thats the oldest "he might come back some day" gimmick in movies. Anyway he was a heavy gravity planet dude and he could have just laughed that **** off. Perhaps since Wullf had a malfuncting chip he pulled him out of the wreckage...

Stupid theory, but I literally cant can think any other likely "unknown allies." Other option could be Sabine/Ahsoka and the Mandalorans and who ever else they went to look for. And Zeb had a whole hidden planet of his warriors. (which would be cool too)... Hell thrown in Bendu and Lando and Lobot while you are at it. We just need some stories wrapped up.

Those are the only options I can come up with.

Will be really disappointed if they just make up some new saviour for the next movie. There are options already existing in the story.
