I own a 7* geared and modded Maul. Do you know what I would feel if Maul become f2p after all the money I wasted on him? I would feel nothing. Making he farmable, for Christ sake, he is cool and there is a lot of farmable characters that are way better than him and are f2p! It's not like he is the clone team, in fact like OP said he sucks for Arena.
