That was great info. Thank you very much. I am a f2p player but I spend my crystals on refreshes and am farming my characters to get them up. I am really stuck I can't progress much right now. But I will look for a guild that is f2p and will accept me at my 811k gp. Just leveled up a couple of ships. I just got my ship challenge done so i can get my weekly zeta mats. I will eventually get one of my guys to gear 13 it's just going to take a lot of refreshes.
Of course!! And honestly, imo, being stuck is a good thing in this game. Bein stuck = direct insight into which area of your roster needs improvement. You knew you needed to finish ship challenges to get a constant stream of zetas and now that that's out of the way you can keep makin progress towards your next goal, whether it's getting ur first G13/relic character or finishing a full squad's zeta abilities. Keep on moving the goalpost with each small victory and take it all in along the way.
Also, you can definitely look for a free to play guild, but from what I've seen most are a mix of both and very few are explicitly p2w; so it might be tough to find a guild that says they're solely f2p (and even if you do find one that says they're f2p, odds are there's a few minnows in there spending a few bucks every now and again). Most guilds care much more about consistency in hitting ur dailies and meeting their set expectations in various guild events than they do goin all out in the store. Ask any seasoned veteran of this game and you'd be hard-pressed to find a single one tell you they'd rather have the one who whales out but doesn't contribute or is inconsistent in their contributions over the one who always shows up when it counts. I'd take a lower GP, f2p player who's always contributing to guild events, helping out, and doing their best over the former any day of the week. In that way, you wanna make sure whatever guild you join is within reach of what you're able to contribute. Some guilds are f2p, some p2w, but all guilds are about members' individual contributions.
I've been an officer for almost my entire time playin this game and am just recently a GL, and I can tell you from experience that things run smoother when everyone's on the same page—if you have too many who can't fully participate with the rest, the might feel upset about not bein able to contribute even though they're doin their best with the roster they have (i.e., "guild fit"); if you have too many who aren't able to use the full extent of their rosters because the guild isn't able to collectively meet a goal (like unlocking planets in TB), then it's likely a matter of time before they find the guild that's at their level, unless they're loyal to the guild that helped them reach that level ("member loyalty"). There's a lotttt of things that go into it, but as long as ur doin what you can with what you have, and you have leadership that understands that and still helps you push forward, then that's there's a good guild.
