In my guild which is probably over 9 years old of which I’ve been an officer for 8 years the only way we have had any luck getting players that actually play the freaking game is to have a longtime member who used to recruit mercs for the raids use his connections or whatever and bring in guys. Otherwise it’s whoever wanders in after being booted from there guild for not doing TB or whatever and they don’t stay long if they are a part time player who shows up a couple times a week and barely participates. But it’s really getting tough to find people with the way the game has gone.

I'm off, dude. Not interested.Funny, I was going to say the same thing in my previous post, but opted not to. You're normally a reasonable person. I hope you have a better day tomorrow dude

I see where you are coming from, prettyfly4quiguy... and I have not seen or interpreted anything you have said as rude or offensive to 237v6g0e6uoh. That being said, I can also step back from the situation and find how it * may * have come across as offensive or aggressive. To that regard, I can see from your angle, KentaroHFM. However, the ONLY way I could get there was by "forgetting" any previous knowledge of who prettyfly4quiguy was or the manner of his speech in Forums (which is generally jovial in nature). In the end, this is a discussion that doesn't matter much... it is not like there is going to be a massive change in the game due to this discussion board. If you want my personal oppinion on the matter... I tend to agree with prettyfly4quiguy in that, if you are contributing to the problem you voice complaint over, perhaps you should stop doing the thing you don't want others to do and, instead, be the change you want to see. Yet again, this is just my personal opinion... and I can't say that I am right for holding it. All I can say is that, as I put thought into it, this is the logical conclusion I get to... and that, even as I hold this point of view, I understand that other rational people can arrive at a different conclusion than me. Are we agreed in this?

There are too many recruiters out there, stalking like cheetahs in the shadows of the jungle.
Are you saying there are no recruiters?

What? Nothing I said was "mean" or "taking digs at them". No need to be a hero when one isnt needed

Man, the poor guy is just having a meltdown because recruiting players for a guild is such a tough job. Come on, don’t be mean to him. Nobody likes trying to vent only to have people take digs at them. Let's be a healthy community :)

His guild is not that old. If he really thinks it is a problem, he could disband his newly formed guild & reduce some of the problem he claims is occuring

However, there are way more players (active or inactive). The real trick is turning inactive players into semi-active or active players. I honestly don't mind the number of Guilds there are... it allows players to bounce around until they find their group. Personally, as a Guild Leader, I focus on the quality of person the player is rather than the activity and GP the player has.

Why so? It's precisely when you create a guild that you start realizing how hard is to recruit the players you need. Looks totally normal to me...
