Ability to replay GW nodes without rewards?
SWGOH is an addictive game, no doubt about it. I think they said the average person plays more than an hour every day, which is pretty remarkable for a mobile game. But the fact is ... there's honestly not a lot to do. I suppose you could replay missions you've already 3 starred, but that is PvE, not that challenging, and because you are spending energy (a limited resource), you really don't want to lose the mission and the rewards.
In the end, and only in my opinion, GW is the closest you can get to a 'pure' SWGOH experience. Unfortunately we only get 12 missions, and in order to clear the board, you really don't get the chance to play around much. I'm not sure about anybody else, but I have 2 teams I use for GW, and except for those 'insane difficulty' nodes, those 10 characters are the only ones I'll use.
But ... what if we could replay GW nodes we've beaten for the day? Those nodes would be "off the clock" so that you don't get rewards and TM isn't maintained for nodes you haven't beaten. It would purely be a place where you can go back and re-fight those battles, using different group configurations, and trying new tactics.
Honestly, I would welcome *any* new gameplay that allowed me to use my roster beyond the 10-15 characters that are my core group, but it seems to me tying a new gameplay mode to something that already exists might be easier than trying to code an entire new battle area.
