Post nerf Wat Tamor - Useless in Challenge Rancor?

I was excited to get Wat to 7* and relic him for the challenge Rancor, but post nerf him + vader has no benefit. Is there any point to relic Wat for the Rancor anymore? Maybe to go with GL, for exa...

Yeah, either this or don't relic him up past r0 unless you are going for Jedi Master Kenobi (he's a r7 pre-requisite)

You can't gain TM, and the raid bosses strip all protection so all his techs are useless
