If i can give you a third suggestion, none of the two. Give some love to that Sion and throw him in the arena instead of DT. Climb up and establish a more solid crystal base before doing anything else.

I am not sure DT works great with the death mark, the daze, the Cooldown increase and dispel, i don’t see as much in Sion except je can get held by hatred sooner with the zeta and I am not close to put him to gear 11 yet and don’t talk about the stars. Maybe I could focus on Sion next(no use right now) for the longer term and put my next zeta on him?

From someone who did same as you and geared DT (mine is g12 even). Nihilus sion combo is superior as your nihi gets tons of TM from debuffs hitting sion which can often lead to easy wins even if you have slower vader.

Sion obliterates dt in arena. Synergizes extremely well with the rest of the nightmare team. It isn't even close.
