Background error when Travelling (Sims 1 LC)

Yes, that’s true, the original game showed a black screen when the travel image displayed.

Ok. I had to scale through system options. How annoying...

As said here, all the lots will be clickable on resolutions 1280x720 and lower. This is annoying...

Very well, it didn't work unfortunately, but I discovered that the traveling bug only applies to the old town. The other sub-neighborhoods are fine. So yeah, that's annoying.

Thanks! Googling the resolutions reveals that the two original resolutions are:

• 800x600
• 1024x768

So the command line argument should look like this:

• “-r800x600”
• “-r1024x768”

I'll try it out and report back if they are good workarounds. The disk version didn't have this problem even with the widescreen patch...

You can set the resolution by doing something like “-r1080x720” in the command line arguments :)

Yeah, it's annoying. Especially as you're limited to the window behind the neighborhood screen window. For now, I guess lowering the resolution could help, but I don't know how to do it...

Same for me. I can only click on certain lots too.
