This is a brand new bug that just started for me after the update on 2/6 for The Sims 1. More than half of the time when I call a cab my sim can't/won't get in the cab and go downtown or wherever. When I save and exit it works again but only the first time I try it. If I try to go downtown again with a friend then he doesn't get in the cab and there's no option to click on the cab. His needs are good and I'm not sure whats going on
It no longer works after restarting. Not sure what happened, I've been using the feature since the bundle launched and today is the first time I've had any trouble with it
I thought this was only a me thing with the way I built my lot, BUT I think your right and that it is a bug. I have it on my residential lot when calling a cab to go downtown via taxi.
There's a similar bug in Sims 2 the sim gets in the car and the car doesn't move for hours. Then if I go to a community lot the vehicle takes forever to be driven to the driveway and returns with default paint.
