Sims 1 - beds won't work, sims can't sleep

While the game is working, I'm unable to interact with the beds on sims 1. Their energy levels just continue to decline and can't interact with the beds when they need sleep - it just says "no interaction available" when I hover over it and can't click.

  • I'm noticing a similar issue, except my energy levels won't decline at all.

How low are their energy levels?  In The Sims 1, the "sleep" action is unavailable until the sim's Energy is below 50.

  • sjacksx9  Does this happen if you replace the bed?  What about if you move it elsewhere?  And please make sure there are no sources of noise in the room.  I don't actually remember whether this is a problem in Sims 1, but it might be.

itswhimsyb  Sims 1 sims can't sleep if they're not tired.  So the question is why they're not getting tired.  Does this happen if they hang out doing nothing (watching TV or whatever else isn't useful) in their own home?  Do you have any mods installed?

Yes tried replacing, moving, etc and no noise in the room. It's very strange.

  • sjacksx9  Does it happen in all households?  You don't need to test all, just a few, and for long enough that the sims are a little bit tired.
