I click the icon to save the game and it pauses forever. I then click go to Live mode and it crashes. When I go back it hasn't saved. The icon to save the game isn't working. Sometimes if I just click to go to Neighborhood view it'll ask if I want to save. That seems to mostly work but not always.

If so, do any of the UserData folders exist, and do the timestamps update on any files or folders inside when you try to save?
I have UserData folders listed 1 through 8. I don't see and Saved Games folder and my path to the Sims Legacy is different the folder is in Program Files. Ok I found what you are talking about. Yes, I have that file path but in Saved Games is UserData 1-8 and time stamps not updating.
whitedove52355 What I'm wondering is, do any of the files in this "The Sims 25" folder update when you try to save the game? You can see their timestamps to the right of their names. If some do update, which ones? Some might update on launch, but that's not what I'm wondering about.
Ok the folder called UserData with no number updated if I recall correctly it was about the time I stopped playing. The UserData folders 1-8 all have the same update time which is a few hours before I stopped playing.
I was able to save the game after I closed out and left it for a while. I'm unsure what happened.
However the folders are Userdata through Userdata8
All the time stamps for folders 2-8 are the same time 7:29pm on Jan 31st
Please can anyone help, im having similar issue. Everytime I click save, the whole game shuts down and doesn't save. I have tried pressing 'repair' on 'manage' in the EA app and that didn't work. I then uninstalled the game then re-installed and that also hasn't worked.
