I have been looking forward to playing this, BUT I can't get it to load I have tried uninstalling, restarts, repairing both game and app. I have tried to start the game from the app, direct from game file, desktop shortcut, on and offline. I am still using windows 10 for now, this is so frustrating, 🤬

Same here, I've got AMD graficcard and Windows 10. The game isn't even starting.
All proposed solutions seems to be for Windows 11 and Nvidia graficcard (with vulkaninfo.exe - I don't have that and I am not very keen on informatics/computers... )
To be honest when we buy a game we shoud click on play and not have to delve into files to get a game to start, ( at least discs worked ) we should just be able to play. Sims 2 played fine,
viscara666 afarrar20 b171c1d512fd8fc4 Please try reinstalling your 2015 and newer VC++ runtimes. Open Windows Settings > Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and uninstall everything from 2015 and newer. Don't touch the older versions.
Download the x86 and x64 versions (not the ARM version) of the 2022 runtimes from Microsoft:

Install the runtimes, restart your computer, and try to play.
