Sims 1, will I ever play ?

I've been searching for answers since the day this came out! I've looked all over the internet for months, tried several suggestions and here I still am! No game and not happy! Please someone help me! I get the Vulkan error code. my drivers are updated, please dont refer me back the main thread of this known issue. I have read it for two hours now trying those suggestions and still no Sims 1.
