Still Crashing to desktop despite patch on 2/6

My game, despite the patch today, still crashes after 10 seconds of being in-game. This growingly frustrating as I bought the bundle for a pretty penny, and I can't even play it now. Same with Sims 2...

This is a bug with new NVIDIA drivers as I described here. You can fix it if you go into NVIDIA Control Panel and set Vulkan/OpenGL present method to prefer native for The Sims 1 as riperiperi has found. Do note I'm talking about what the bars look like, that's going to get fixed. Crashing is probably unrelated.
