The sims 1 Lag

It’s 100% an issue for people with AMD graphics cards. A lot of people are having the same issues. My game lags when there are more than 3 sims on my home lot and on community lots too. I just want a fix for this problem, considering it’s the second time purchasing the sims 1 like you, it’s not fair at all.

I've posted about this many a time and thankfully someone from the community management team has reached out and confirmed EA are aware of this, so fingers crossed it gets patched for us

Im glad to hear that they are aware of the problem. I get that It’s hard for them to make the game work since It’s so old. I downloaded the sims 1 complete collection from an website with abandoned gameware and got It to work really well a long time before the new release. The only problem I had was a crash from time to time. The community managed to make the game functional with fixes and what not. But now when the new release is out (and should be functional) the game is no longer considered abandoned and I cannot get the functional version anymore.. I shouldn’t have removed It from my computer when I bought It again from the EA app..

Well, well. I guess all we can do is wait and hope :)
