The Sims 1 Legacy won't launch at all

I've installed The Sims 1 Legacy on Ea App, however it won't launch at all, I googled the solution and tried to fix accordingly ( downloaded the latest Visual C++) and nothing worked. I'm now so disa...

Yep this is still happening to me too, they claim they fixed it in the 2/6 patch but still can't launch the game.
