Who's still playing the Sims 1 from time to time?

I hope you feel better soon I know for sure when I do not feel well I cannot concentrate properly on my sims games as I have usually got goals in mind which I cannot be bothered with if I don't feel well :)
I did ignore the ram message but of course when you get messages like that it's a worry the game is not installing properly or won't load when you try-)
I got stumped on trying to send the 4 of my roommate sims to downtown together -) and I still don't know because I stopped to watch the 4 live stream on city life..
are you able to come out of 1 to desktop and back without the game borking? Last time I did that it stopped my game play so I dare not try it again but its frustrating not being able to come out of game to do google searches for the answer to something..
speaking of 4 I pre ordered City Life because I know I am going to buy it there is too much content I want to use in the pack not to mention an actual city world which is a favorites, so yeah I caved :)
