Windows 7 players who can't get Sims 1 to play again...solution!

You can prevent your Sims 1 game and tools from storing items in the Virtual Store folder by installing to a non-UAC location. By this, I mean not in the Wondows or Program Files or Program Files folders. I created a Games folder and installed Sims 1 to C:\Games\Maxis. No need to run as admin then, as there is no UAC in play.
