Cannot Load back into Vacation Resort

Everything was working perfectly fine until I put the family into a vacation. Took them to a shop on one of the vacation lots so travelled by taxi there. On trying to return them back to the resort via taxi , I am now stuck on the loading blue screen back to Beach Palm Resort. I can actually hear the sounds like I've loaded into it. So, I can hear Sims talking, hear the music from the speakers at the resort playing but I'm stuck on the loading screen with the picture of the taxi. There's no error code, just stuck on the loading screen. Any ideas? Will this be looked into and fixed?
