Can't Run TS2 UC because I don't have DirectX 9.0c-SOLVED

I keep getting an error that new laptop doesn't have DirectX 9.0c. The rest of the specs match/exceed what is required for the game. Anything I can do to help run the game? I have installed Graphics R...

Finally found a fix. Found this post and in Part Four it talks about running the game in Full Screen Mode. My game works now. http://simscommunity.info/social/threads/sims-2-ultimate-collection-resolution-graphics-fix.4081/
