Ctrl + Shift + C no longer working since most recent patch update

I've verified that Ctril+Shift+C still works to bring up the cheat/command console in Sims 3 and 4, but since yesterday's bug fix it no longer works in the Sims 2 - I'm using Steam if that is relevan...

Was there ever a fix for this? I cant use my cheats window on my ultimate collection, its game breaking cause i cant do what i want to do in my game. EA needs to fix this ASAP
