Error Out of Video Memory

Question

My Sims 2 plays a while and then closes with error out of video memory.  I have a brand new gaming computer and The Sims 2 is the only game on it right now.  But it is on the ssd drive not the hdd drive and I do not know what I need to do to fix this.  I know I just have to make changes somewere, but what and were.  Any help??? Please..........

@kamra19610  I know this is late, but try this website:  www.pleasantsims.com.   there’s a blog post about getting Sims 2 to work with Windows 10. Since you have a new computer, I’m guessing you have Windows 10. Good luck.
