Good custom hood templates?
I’d like to try using some custom hood templates, ie not just the ones from Maxis. Ideally I’d like some with space for beach lots. Seems like there are loads on Mod the Sims so I don’t know where to start!

How do you install a custom template? Where do they go? - The .sc4 files and the pictures files go in Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection (or whichever Sims 2 you're using)\SC4Terrains folder.
- I would be careful downloading some from MTS. I have tried almost all of them. Many of them spawn all sorts of crazy stuff I had to spend hours deleting. Like the ponds, hundreds piled upon top of each other. And or those little trees that look like bushes, hundreds of them. It's because the creator of those hoods didn't do something to stop the game from spawning a bunch of unwanted foliage. I have never had nor seen that problem with Rflong7's templates, they are great and never did spawn all that unwanted stuff.
