Hi everyone. I have a sims 2 ultimate edition copy on my EA App that i got some years ago. With the re-release of the sims 1 and 2, I found myself hoping they would update the ultimate edition of the sims 2 because all I need at the end of the day is the Windows 11 compatibility fix, but apparently they're not doing that. Do I need to buy a whole other copy of a game i already have just for a fix? Is this serious?
Same here. I don't know what else you expected from EA.
I have to admit that I thought they would allow a free download for people who already own the old version. But I don't care anymore as I just watched a really simple-to-follow YT tutorial for how to make the old version run nicely on new Windows versions and I'm going to do that instead. Besides which, I really like the Ikea pack and the legacy version is missing that so I might as well just stick with what I've got.

I own base game and almost alla exp packs for 2. I waited for very long time for digital download. now do I have to buy all over again? why we cant redeem our old codes for sims 2
