Just so you know: on mac the file path to the equivalent of the documents folder is "/Users//Library/Containers/com.aspyr.sims2.appstore/Data/Library/Application Support/Aspyr/The Sims 2" I'm not sure why Aspyr chose that though, maybe it worked better on older computers?
