How to change the windowed mode size Sims2 UC using the EA app?

Ok, I'm running Windows 10 on this computer, and it's the first time I've downloaded my Sims2 UC game onto it. I know how to go to properties and use "-w" to make the game play in Windowed Mode. But my monitor has a pretty big screen and when I try to play the game in regular mode, the graphics are kind of stretched out. In windowed mode, they're normal, but it makes the windowed mode window so dang small! And I cant click on the edges and/or corners to resize it. Is there anyone that can help me figure out how to resize the windowed mode window? Pretty please!?!

*Edited to add what version of Windows I'm operating on.
  • Hi :)
I've forgotten how I set up the game. I've got some mods and edited the game files.
Maybe these can start you off on your hunt for the information. :)

  • @Rflong7 thank you so very much! I followed the tutorial that you posted the link for that opened up in the post there, and it fixed both my screen resolution size issue AND got rid of the black box under my sims/shadow issue! I really appreciate the help, thank you again!
  • You're so welcome! I hope you have lots of fun playing now.
