How to change the windowed mode size Sims2 UC using the EA app?

Ok, I'm running Windows 10 on this computer, and it's the first time I've downloaded my Sims2 UC game onto it. I know how to go to properties and use "-w" to make the game play in Windowed Mode. But...

@Rflong7 thank you so very much! I followed the tutorial that you posted the link for that opened up in the post there, and it fixed both my screen resolution size issue AND got rid of the black box under my sims/shadow issue! I really appreciate the help, thank you again!
