I bought the sims 2 legacy.. why is it not giving me my game?

Hello! so i have been really wanting to buy the sims 2 for my laptop and recently for there 25th year   they released a legacy version of the sims two that comes with packs. I don't know if ea is cur...

Oh and i forgot to add: everything on my laptop is updated and i have more then enough space
