The Sims 2 Legacy Collection FULL of Bugs. UNPLAYABLE
Firstly, it has taken me MONTHS to figure out how to create a post on this website. This is the most confusing website I have ever come across. The Sims 2 Legacy collection issues: None of the pre-fab neighborhoods will load properly. The terrain and terrain decorations are there, but nothing else. Only the pre-fab apartments are available in the build modes, no residential or commercial properties. In some of the neighborhoods there will be a couple of pre-fab families available. Shift+Ctrl+C doesn't work so I'm unable to use any of the 'cheat' codes. I'm also unable to get the Custom Content dialogue thingy to open. I kind-of got a new neighborhood created, but it is full of bugs i.e. had a toddler who couldn't seem to interact with beds and then died from exhaustion (although the game then crashed, so as long as I don't play that household again, they're still quasi-alive). The wall building icon got stuck in one of my houses, doesn't affect game-play, but visually annoying. I'm sure there were more issues, but it's been so long, I just can't remember them all. My desktop PC is brand new this year (Re windows 11), everything all up-to-date. I've tried, clearing caches, doing both hard and soft un-install/re-installs. Please help.
The Sims 2 Legacy keeps crashing
When I play The Sims 2 Legacy edition, it crashes as soon as I enter a household. I have no mods or custom content in my game. My PC is fully updated and has the best drivers, and is completely capable of running the program. I have been repelled to play this game due to the horrible number of crashes it has. As a result of this, I have timed how long it takes to crash. It is about 28 seconds from entering a household. There is no chance of corruption due to the fact that I have not used cheats or any weird manipulation of the game files. Help would be appreciated, thank you.
Comunity Lots Not Loading
Hello Everyone ! So today i decided to renovate a community lot in strangetown to add a few things but the moment i try to load in the lot it gets stuck on loop and never loads in it gets stuck at the loading screen but the game is not crashing its just stuck there ! so i was wondering if there was a way to fix it cause honestly its very annoying . I noticed the past few months the Sims 2 is filled with bugs to the point its almost unplayable and i personally think ea should start fixing them cause the updates are practically doing nothing to fix the bugs so far ! For me the bugs consist of the autonomy not working properly and my sims doing the same things over and over again and the autonomy bar getting bagged with my sims always turning on and off the tv or writing in a diary and things like that also the lot bug where lots dont load in and objects dessapearing when i load in the game ! So i want to hear your opinion about it and if you have any fixes to this kinds of problems !
TS2LC: Stuck on borderless windowed, can't get fullscreen or change resolution
Alt-Enter is not working for me. When I use it, I get the Windows error sound chime. The game is stuck on borderless windowed mode. I can't cycle to either windowed or fullscreen. I'm a steam player. The in-game resolution menu is grayed out and not clickable.Sims 2 randomly crashes
My sims 2 legacy game randomly crashes, it plays fine for a while then out of no where it will just fully shut down? Plus every time i go into my saved game i get the game tips pop up as if I have never loaded into the game before. Any solutions or suggestions would be appreciated!CC not showing up in Cas
I have the Sims 2 (on Mac and the DVD version) and cc isn't showing up in cas. I've installed several cc hairs and clothes and non of them appear in game. I've also tryed installing cep but that hasn't done anything (there is no indication it is even there). CC shows up in build/buy modes but not cas for some reason and I know it isn't a mod conflict.The Sims 2 Legacy Collection Crashing For No Apparent Reason?
HI! I just bought the sims 2 legacy collection and it will not stop crashing. I can open the game just fine and create neighrborhoods/use CAS perfectly fine, graphics are great, no issues, but every time I open a lot and try to get a sim to do anything it immediately crashes. I've checked my system requirements and I have more than enough memory and hard drive space, my graphics card meets the minimum requirements, and my processor is higher than the minimum requirement. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled, tried to repair the game, and tried a few community fixes to no avail. I also checked to make sure my graphics and audio drivers are fully updated, which they are. I don't have any old files for The Sims 2 installed on this computer so that isn't the problem either. There is no concieveable reason the game should be crashing. There is no error code when it crashes so I don't even know specifically how to target the issue. Does anyone know what might be going on? Update: I tried to uninstall/reinstall again and it deleted my whole game!? EA won't accept the gift code I used to purchase it again. This is a joke! Is this why theres no support line!? Because they are scamming people out of their money?
