All the lots in my Pleasantview save disappeared
I have been playing in Pleasantview of the Legacy Collection on my PC rotationally with no issues until tonight I saved after everyone in my household died (not the first time I've done this) and returned to the neighborhood to find it completely empty. Not just the sims but the lots are gone too; except for the empty one I had just been playing. Honestly I wanted to post about it because I'm upset about all the lost play time but I do need help understanding how to reset the save so all the pre-existing sims are back. Maybe I won't kill Don this time.I think I'm missing a lot of things from the Sims 2 Legacy Edition
So I ended up buying the Sims 2 Legacy Edition when it was released and was really excited when I saw everything it had included. I really wanted to play in the city neighborhood, but when I launched it, there was only 6 neighborhoods available. I brushed it off and just continued to play. Now I realize that I think half of the things is missing. I also noticed that I cant look at the game description when in the EA app. It only gives me the option to view it in the library. I can do it with the Sims 4, but not with the Sim 2. It is also called The Sims 2 + The Sims 2 Packs but not legacy edition. I have no clue how to fix any of this and anytime I try to see if anyone else has had my same issue, it just tells me that the only missing pack from the Sim 2 Legacy Edition is the IKEA pack. Alt-Enter is not working for me. When I use it, I get the Windows error sound chime. The game is stuck on borderless windowed mode. I can't cycle to either windowed or fullscreen. I'm a steam player. The in-game resolution menu is grayed out and not clickable.
Sims 2 Legacy cheat box will not open.
I've tried just about everything I can find on the internet and I cannot get the cheat box to open whatsoever. I've updated my drivers, my keyboard works, I've restarted my computer 100 times, I've tried shift+cntrl+c, I've tried shift+cntrl+windows key+c. It all does not work. What is going on??
Sims 2 Legacy Collection Neighborhoods
I bought the Sims 2 Legacy Collection from the EA app as part of the 25 year anniversary re-release. I had never played Sims 2 prior to 2025 and from what I have heard, this collection is supposed to have all EPs, and SPs except the Ikea Pack and all neighborhoods. When I launch it only has 6 neighborhoods to choose from. How do I know if all the packs are actually included? Even the Sims 2 folder only has 6 neighborhoods...E001, F001, G001, N001, N002 and N003. I don't even know which neighborhood is which, but am I supposed to have more than this? Please help.
Blurry / Resolution Issues on Sims 2 Legacy
So, I just bought TS2 today here on Steam hoping to get a better, patched version of my favorite game. But after using it for a bit, it seems it's still unpolished and not what I expected.... I keep running into an issue, the internal resolution appears to be stuck at (what it looks in my eyes) to be 1536x864 (according to my screenshots resolution) even when I select 1080p in the menu. I've tried Windowed Mode, tinkering with the Graphic Rules and trying to force a larger resolution but to no avail. It's really bothering me, the UI is very blurry and the whole game runs at a terrible resolution! I found that this had been "fixed" in February: "The game sometimes launched at a small resolution (800x600) and then scaled that small format to fill the entire monitor" but it's still happening on my end. Changing resolutions doesn't do anything! Please help.
Sims 2 Legacy Collection: Mouse Clicking Takes In-Game Snapshots
I have no idea what's going on with this game. I've had this bug since yesterday and the same thing keeps happening, no matter what I do. I cleaned my keyboard, replaced my mouse in case that was the issue, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, but no matter what something is wrong with the game. Even tried playing with the keyboard unplugged a few times, not even THAT changed anything. I boot up the game, load into any household (or just change around settings in the menus) and I always get the same thing: The in-game snapshot function activates against my will, even if I dutifully have my other hand away from the keyboard just to prove to myself I'm not touching anything, and I get flashblinded because I can't disable the **bleep** flashbulb effect or turn off the snapshot functionality entirely. I'm worried I might get legitimate vision damage from the amount of times it's gone off at me for no reason when I just want to play my games again. Combined with the awful bug that means I don't have any of the Premade animals in Sims 4, this has been the worst month for me with Sims products ever. If at least one of these issues can't be fixed soon, I'm not going to be able to play ANYTHING Sims on this computer.
Sims 2 Legacy resolution scaling off
Hi all, I have had issues with the game's resolution being incorrect and being unable to get my in-game resolution settings to stick once the game was restarted, but with today's patch the resolution is still off (game is sized wrong and is cut off to the right side of the screen), and additionally the resolution options are grayed out in the settings. I have repaired and reinstalled my game, but this did not fix the issue, any ideas what it could be? Screenshots attached and PC Specs. AMD Ryzen 5 7600X AMD Radeon RX 7800XT 32GB Ram
