I do not want ugly maternity clothing for my Sims!

You know, I wish they let you shop for a maternity outfit downtown instead of getting stuck with a random one.

I don't know if this helps or not but I run a Discord server dedicated to listing Sims 2 CC. We have an entire area just for Sims 2 Maternity and while there's not a lot of teen specific maternity shared at this time, there is a handful and there are a few hundred adult female maternity. Either way, this entire server is just dedicated to the CAS side of CC in the Sims 2 that might help. https://discord.gg/sKk2Mrm We have a second server dedicated to Build & Buy but that's a different invite/not what your looking for here.

Yes I think on sites like modthesims you can find default replacements for the maternity clothes. However I only know of replacements I am not sure if there are other options.

There's a mod for pregnancy outfits called Pregnancy Wear Any Outfit by Squinge.

I recommend this site https://sims2defaults.dreamwidth.org/ If there's anything you want in the way of default replacements, this is a good place to look. As someone else said, Modthesims is also a good resource.

No problem! I've got tons of clothing and hair replacements from there. The only bad thing is, it IS an old collection, so there are a few that have dead links.

I highly recommend this mod. Then you're not stuck w/any specific "maternity" outfit; your sim can wear whatever you want. Some outfits don't have the maternity morph on them and so your sim will still look like she is skinny, but walk pregnant, LOL You'll find this mod and many more here: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/board,655.0.html

I tried that mod. It does work.
But most of my outfits do not have pregnancy morphs, and you can't pick everyday outfits after your Sim is already showing. So my Sims were always walking around acting pregnant, but not looking it. It was just too weird, so I uninstalled it.
