Im getting the 'application has crashed and will now terminate ' message

So, when i bought and installed the new legacy collection i had no issues at first ( except for my child sim disappearing after i had just made them and loaded into a house). I have tried 6 times to ...

okay update.. made a whole new family and im not having any issues.. yet

    update.. been playing fine for ages then all of a sudden my game crashes and terminates again... load game back up and my toddler has gone
