Im getting the 'application has crashed and will now terminate ' message

So, when i bought and installed the new legacy collection i had no issues at first ( except for my child sim disappearing after i had just made them and loaded into a house). I have tried 6 times to ...

Same!! I was playing with a family since yesterday without any problems, but now out of sudden everytime i load onto the family the game crashes... I just feel so betrayed lol I was so happy to finally be able to play The Sims 2. If anyone knows how to correct this... please
