Im getting the 'application has crashed and will now terminate ' message

So, when i bought and installed the new legacy collection i had no issues at first ( except for my child sim disappearing after i had just made them and loaded into a house). I have tried 6 times to load in that same house today and now it keeps coming up with that message. I have installed the 4gb patch in hopes that worked and im still having issues. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still comes up with the message.

I have just 'repaired' the sims 2 legacy within the EA App so I will try again and see if that works.

Anyways... does anyone know how to fix this xoxo

This is the file name of one of my config files, VALUEDCUSTOMER-config-log, so yours should be something like that. I have multiple ones because of playing on past PCs I have had. I just know the error has something to do with texture memory, so hopefully someone comes in here with more information.

moisdetoenies the new family I was playing with was absolutely fine until I went shopping… when I came home it glitched and then I got the “terminate” message. When I re launched it up my toddler had disappeared 🥲🥲🥲
