Is there a way?

They only give out the UC if you can prove you've bought the game sometime in the past. Your best option would be to see if you can buy the basegame somewhere so that you can present customer service a registration code. That way you'd get everything for the price of just one basegame. Not free, but still very much worth it!


Edit: Not always true, seems whether or not a code is needed depends heavily on who is manning customer service at the time of calling

That's actually not true. My friends received the game by simply asking for it and saying that they were big fans of The Sims series. You can just keep on trying until you get someone that gives it to you.

Yeah, they have videos all over YouTube about how to get it like that.

For me I just had to explain that I own every single sims game ever made in any series and that the new laptop I bought didn't have a disc drive. The rep I spoke to was very nice and gave me the UC for nothing! I had all my boxes lined up on the floor ready to take a picture and he was just like yeah sure here!
