Major errors

I’ve only had ‘The Sims 2: Legacy Collection’ for about four hours. I’ve been playing it for two hours and I’ve experienced a string of errors that have now made it almost unplayable. It loaded up fine initially and Create-a-sim worked perfectly. The problems started the moment I loaded my family into a lot. The family included a dog which never actually loaded into the lot and just disappeared. I then discovered the wants and needs system wasn’t working at all. I just had blank slots where the wants should be. I applied a fix someone online suggested, but this didn’t work. It kind of half loaded, half didn’t. From there, I repaired the game on the EA app and uninstalled it twice. It initially appeared to be fixed when I reinstalled it, but the issues came back with a vengeance, and I ended up with new ones. Namely no cutscenes, object errors, crashing wants and needs followed by a major error in which one my sims glitched and completely vanished from the household. He’s half there in neighborhood view but the error message is still there, and I can’t find a way to bring him back.

Update- He has now completely disappeared from my household, family tree and relationships bar. His father is still there but my teenage sim seems to have deleted himself somehow.

I really hope these are just bugs and can be fixed because ‘The Sims 2’ is my favourite game of all time and I was really looking forward to playing it.
